" Make A Statement "
Jellybean Hotrods had the privilege of being invited to the Langley Good Times Cruise-In this year as a feature booth to enhance & give new life to the already awesome show. The Cruise-In is in the top 10 shows in North America according to Dennis Gage of My Classic Car who has aired the cruise-in on his TV show.
Our task was to draw more people to the show. We took it as a challenge so we gave the spectators a variety of things to wow them. Jellybean Hotrods prides itself in top-notch workmanship so we were excited at the chance for our craftsmen to display their work in action in front of almost 100,000 people and their cameras.
First off we displayed a few of the top end cars we have just completed, then we did a "true-fire" application on the '29 Ford pictured below. David from Island Art Work did a remarkable job.
Next our craftsmen performed a live chop top for everyone to see on a 1923 Ford. We took 9" out of the roof pillars to give the car a hotrod look & balance the design more. Henry Ford would have done it this way if he was alive today.
Our artist, Dayle from HRA Concept Design Illustration was on hand drawing a concept image of a '57 Belair we just getting started on.
Lastly our stereo guys from West Side Custom Audio were showing their stuff with an installation of a Multi-Media system with 3 way component speakers, subs, GPS, reverse camera, steering wheel control, etc. along with sound damping & such.
Next year we will be doing a demo at the Langley Good Times Cruise-In again. Look for us in the Casino parking lot just west of the fountain.
